THUNDER BAY – The fun of the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition is enjoying fantastic weather. Hot sunny days making for warm nights are helping bring lots of people out for the fair. Summer just would not be summer for thousands of people without a trip down the CLE Midway.
The rides and food are popular with everyone.
The CLE is kind of the start of the return to school mode for parents, marking the shift from the start of the holidays to the clubhouse turn into the school year. It is like the high mark of summer.
From across Northwestern Ontario, people from Sandy Lake, Sachigo Lake, Gull Bay, Rocky Bay, Helen Lake, Fort Severn, Marten Falls and all the northern communities, people make their way to the CLE.
North Star Air is helping young people this year to get into the CLE. MaryEllen Thomas from North Star is helping kids who just have to get in to the CLE to get in and enjoy a ride.
The Canadian Lakehead Exhibition is a diamond in the rough in many ways with lots of opportunity to grow and build and be a bigger part of the local economy.
