Fort William BIA Board Moves Street Fair

THUNDER BAY – The Fort William Fall Street Fair is moving. Instead of being on May Street and along Victoria Avenue, where there are a number of businesses, the annual event is shifting over toward Paterson Park and then along Brodie Street to Victoriaville Centre.

The move was decided at the Fort William Business District BIA. Members businesses along May Street, Victoria Avenue were not consulted by the BIA Board.

The decision comes a month out from the event.

Board members apparently have made the move citing concerns over issues at past street fairs.
