THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police report that a nine-year-old girl was attacked outside of a north side restaurant. The attack, which happened on Saturday, at about 6:30PM EDT, occurred as the young girl’s mother was inside the Cumberland Street establishment. The victim was outside with her bike, waiting for her mom.
Police say that a middle-aged man approached the girl, and pushed her into an alcove in the building that was more secluded and then touched her inappropriately
The suspect is described as a forty-year old male who is five foot ten inches tall and is thin. He was possibly driving a silver and gold coloured car. He was, at the time of the attack wearing a black shirt with a dragon on the front, a black ball cap, white sneakers, and dark pants.
Thunder Bay Police report that they have a possible suspect in this case and are in the process of locating him.
