THUNDER BAY – Giant Hogweed. Heard of it? Recently the TBDHU report that they have received concerns of this plant being on private property.

However, to date, there have been no confirmed sightings in our district.

Giant Hogweed looks very similar to Cow Parsnip, hence the confusion. If you come across what you believe to be Giant Hogweed, call the invasive species hotline at 1 800-563-7711 and check out www.invadingspecies.ca to learn more. Please share this post on your network to let others know!
