THUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Friday proved to be another full night for Thunder Bay Police. There were several assaults, eleven in total, across the city.

Friday night, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue were called out to the pathway near Intercity Mall and 11th Avenue where a grass fire has left a man with reported serious injuries.

Thunder Bay Police are now investigating.

There were six incidents involving weapons in the city over the past twenty-four hours.

Topping the list, as usual were calls related to alcohol and drugs. There were eighty-four ‘Quality of Life’ calls, fifty-eight involved alcohol, and five were drug related. There were twenty-one calls for disorder.

It might be summer, when many people are taking holidays, but crime isn’t taking a break.

Six break and enters and six thefts from vehicles happened over the past twenty-four hours.
