Staal Foundation Open off to Hot Start in Friday Action

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Wes Homon got off to a very fast start with four birdies at the Whitewater Golf Course in Thunder Bay. Homon has the early Clubhouse lead in the PGA TOUR Canada Staal Foundation Open.

Homan shot a second round 65, following up on his 67 on Thursday.

Homon says he enjoyed the early start time, and that anytime one can start with four birds, it is a good thing.

The PGA TOUR Canada professional had only one bogey in an excellent round of golf that included an eagle on the 12th hole.
