THUNDER BAY – UPDATED – Negotiations between Bombardier and Unifor Local 1075 came to an abrupt end late this afternoon.

The parties had been bargaining through the weekend in front of a strike deadline set for 2:00PM this coming Monday July, 14.

UNIFOR now adds that there are immediate actions happening at 19:00 could be changing this situation… Developing…

Unifor National Staff Representative Andy Savela said “They rejected our last offer outright and walked away from the table”.

The bargaining committee will be meeting with Unifor National President Jerry Dias who is expected to arrive in Thunder Bay tomorrow afternoon.

It is starting to look like there could be a strike or lockout by Monday.
