    THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police were busy over the weekend, and over the past week. Over the weekend, Thunder Bay Police report that three men were arrested after a traffic stop on Algoma Street near Van Norman.

    Police stopped the vehicle just after 15:00EDT on Sunday afternoon.

    Police found drugs, including cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana in the vehicle. Further inspection led to the discovery of credit card copying equipment, according to TBPS.

    Charges of trafficking and extortion have been laid against three un-named suspects who are expected to appear in court today.

    Police were also on scene on Victoria Avenue near Centennial Square late Saturday night and investigators were still on scene Sunday morning.
