THUNDER BAY — The Ministry of Transportation advises the motoring public that Highway 17 is now open.

Drivers will encounter single lane restrictions controlled by traffic light operations while the Jackfish River Bridge remains under construction.  We ask for drivers’ patience as we continue to work and remind them to obey the speed limit–for the safety of both workers and drivers.

For the latest information on highway closures, the public can call 511, MTO’s Road Information Line or check www.ontario.ca/511.
