The difference of twelve cents per litre is stark. Kenora is also averaging $1.329 per litre of regular gas.
In Thunder Bay the price is lower, $1.149 on Fort William First Nation.

The price of a US gallon of gasoline in Grand Marais right now is $3.75. There are 3.8 litres in a US gallon. The price in US funds of a litre of gasoline is $0.986.
The price of gasoline is climbing across Canada and the finger is being pointed at world conditions, including unrest in Iraq, and uncertainty on the price of a barrel of oil.
The price for a barrel of oil is currently just over $106/barrel. Some experts are predicting that by the end of the year, a barrel of oil could hit over $120 per barrel.
That will put increased pressure on the price of a litre of gas at the pumps.
