Demolition Continues on Old Theatre

THUNDER BAY – Updated – Through the day today, the Capital Theatre on Brodie Street in Thunder Bay’s Fort William Business District has been undergoing demolition. The old theatre has attracted a crowd of former patrons, and employees all of whom expressed their sadness at seeing the old structure come done.

Demolition of the Capital Theatre continues. At 21:30PM the back wall and the majority of the building is gone. There is increased dust, and few people watching the demolition now. The crews are planning to work into the night.

The structure has been empty for some time now.
