Kathleen Wynne and Liberals Celebrate
TORONTO – Kathleen Wynne making her way to the podium to address happy Liberals following a return to government, was being embraced by supporters.
The re-elected Premier and Party leader has come through the fire of the election campaign and brought the Liberals to a majority with 58 seats.
“Thank-You!”, stated Kathleen Wynne, “Thank you so much!”.
To chants of “Four more years”, the Liberal Leader stated “We did this!”.
“You are amazing, I just have to say Don Valley West is the loudest.
“You voted for jobs, you voted for growth”.
“Let me tell you, your government is ready to do exactly that, build Ontario”.
“We are going to build Ontario up for everyone in this province. We all live in one Ontario”.
The Premier is expected to move quickly recalling the legislature and getting going on building a cabinet. The Liberals gained nine seats.
“We are all going to work together to make Ontario a better place to work, to live, and to raise a family”, stated Premier Wynne.
Wynne thanked Tim Hudak for his service after his announcement to step down as PC leader tonight.
