Imagine being Mortgage Free on Canada Day

THUNDER BAY – There are only two more $5,000 Early Bird Draws before the exciting Grand Prize Draw in the 28th Annual Rotary House Lottery.

On Canada Day (Tuesday, July 1st) at exactly 6:30 p.m. at the Marina Park main stage, one lucky winner will be drawn and get the keys to a stunning new home, valued at $459,020.

The tickets are a feel-good purchase in more ways than one. You will be giving yourself a chance to win a remarkable home by C. Kelos Homes, and you’re providing Hope to cancer patients.

Proceeds from this year’s lottery will support the Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation as well as a variety of other community organizations.

“The Fort William Rotary Club has committed $500,000 to the Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign,” says Gordie Garriock, Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Rotary House Lottery Committee. “We will be working diligently, through our Annual House Lottery, to honour our commitment to ensure that each patient that walks through the doors of our cancer centre has the best possible chance to survive their diagnosis. Every single ticket purchased is making a difference for our families and friends who are going through a cancer journey.”

“Everyone is a winner in this lottery,” says Bob Hookam, Chair of the Rotary House Lottery Committee. “Not just the cancer patient but all of us in the district who will require the exceptional facilities at our hospital – the young, the elderly, those in good health, those in poor health and all the children in the district.
