THUNDER BAY – Crime News – Thunder Bay Police report that Sexual Assault charges have been laid against a Thunder Bay man following a complaint made to police.

The Thunder Bay Police Service received a complaint on Thursday May 22, 2014 from the parent of an intellectually disabled adult male victim. It was reported that he had been sexually assaulted on May 14, 2014 by a 55 year old male who was known to the victim.
Further investigation lead to the arrest of 55 year old Ronald John Fossum.

Fossum was charged with Sexual Assault, Breach of Probation and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking. He has been remanded into custody with a court date of May 27, 2014.

Ronald John Fossum has been convicted of past sexual offences. He is also before the courts for charges laid in 2013 regarding alleged historic sexual assaults involving four minors.
