THUNDER BAY – There was a very strong response by Thunder Bay Police to a robbery at the Mr. Sub on Red River Road on Friday Night.

Police in a statement said, “Police are investigating a Robbery that took place at a downtown Subway store on Red River Road. A male entered the store bandishing a large knife before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money. The OPP dog handler was brought in to assist with the track and police are still investigating”.

Witnesses reported that members of the tactical unit were also brought out.
