KENORA – A search for a missing man in the Kenora area has a tragic ending. Hughie Whiskeyjack of Kenora was found dead Tuesday. Whiskyjack was close to the roadway were he was reported missing.

Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and an Emergency Response Team conducted the missing person search for Whiskeyjack.

The forty-seven year old man from Kenora was reported missing on Monday and was last seen at Separation Rapid’s Camp off the English River Road.

Yesterday OPP members located Whiskeyjack who was deceased. A post mortem examination will be conducted to attempt to determine the cause of his death.
