THUNDER BAY – Entertainment – As part of their cross-Canada tour, Quebec rock n roll trio, Blue Daven’s Code will be making a stop in Thunder Bay on Saturday, May 10 at Black Pirates Pub (215 Red River Road). Born in 2011, Quebec City’s Blue Daven’s Code keep pushing the limits to become the best band it could possibly be. Made up of Jesse (vocals / guitar), Matt (bass) and JP (drums), BDC have made a name for themselves with their wild and high-energy shows. The band has toured all over Canada and the US with radio airplay all over the continent. They play a seamless blend of heavy, powerful and loud rock n’ roll with influences from Guns n’ Roses and Asking Alexandria to John Lee Hooker and Thrice.
In 2011, BDC finished second in Budweiser’s “Omnium du Rock”, a fierce battle of the bands in the province of Quebec, beating out 42 bands in the process. Since then, the band has released the Wild Side EP on ITunes, and 2 music videos for the first single “Ph.D” as well as “A Killer Next Door”. In 2013, BDC teamed up with Toronto producer, Ross Hayes Citrullo (Time Giant, Monster Truck, The Sheepdogs) to record their single for “Dangerous”.
