List puts names to kidnapped Nigerian school girls

It is the worst fears of the parents of 270 Nigerian teenagers being realized. The terror group Boko Haram has been carrying out kidnappings of girls on smaller scale for the past year and a half. However this latest mass kidnapting was on a much larger scale than anything they had done in the past.

The BBC is reporting that “It should also be noted that Boko Haram began this tactic when the Nigerian security forces also began kidnapping, or rather taking as prisoners, the wives and children of Boko Haram members”.In the latest video the terror group is claiming that they will “Sell the girls off in the market”. Fears are that the school girls, aged 15-18 will be sold off as sex slaves. From CNN the terror leader, “Abubakar Shekau, said they would be sold. He suggested that girls of 12, even 9, were suitable for marriage. ‘Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves,’ Shekau said.”
