15 to 20 Centimetres of Snow Possible
THUNDER BAY – Weather – Thunder Bay is under a Snowfall Warning. Environment Canada states that 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is possible late today.
The weather service is predicting periods of wet snow or rain changing to snow at times heavy this evening.
By Saturday, Thunder Bay should be back into the more seasonal temperatures.
For those who might be heading south to Duluth, the forecast is calling for light snow likely in the evening, then a chance of light snow after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches. Lows 28f to 33f. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of snow 60 per cent.
