THUNDER BAY – Road conditions across the City of Thunder Bay are already challenging. Environment Canada has now issued a SNOWFALL WARNING.

Snowfall, with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected according the weather service.

An approaching low pressure system has spread snow into the Lakehead area. 15 cm of snow is expected for areas near the west end of Lake Superior including Thunder Bay. The snow is expected to taper off early this evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
