THUNDER BAY – CRIME NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Report that “On January 22, 2014, the Computer Crime Unit at the Thunder Bay Police service began a peer to peer file sharing investigation involving child pornography. As a result of the preliminary stage of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence located in the 400 block of Bernard Street on April 2nd, 2014.
“A computer, flash drives and number of DVD’s were seized. Analysis of the seized items confirmed the existence of child pornography images”.
On April 9th, 2014, 41 year old Jason Repay turned himself into the police and was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography.
Repay made an initial court appearance this morning and has since been release with a court date of May 9th, 2014.
