THUNDER BAY – Crime News – It was a busy Saturday night for Thunder Bay Police with the usual assortment of criminal code and public order issues.

Fast food cravings appear to be the downfall of a few of the people that Thunder Bay Police had to deal with.

Police report that at approximately 1:40AM EDT, officers attended at a local fast food drive thru on the south side of Thunder Bay, for a call of a male sleeping in his vehicle. When uniformed officers arrived, they determined the male was impaired and had been responsible for a earlier hit and run in the 1000 block of West Gore St.

A 55 year old Thunder Bay man will be appearing in court this morning facing a variety of charges.

Then at approximately 3:20AM EDT, Police responded to a break and enter at a North side recreation centre.

Officers located a 26 year old Sachigo Lake man was in the process of helping himself to some onion rings.

The suspect will be appearing in court this morning.
