THUNDER BAY – Travelers might experience slippery streets and highways across Northern Ontario today.

Environment Canada reports there is the potential for patchy freezing drizzle this morning.

Periods of light snow may be mixed with patchy freezing drizzle over Northwestern Ontario this morning. The precipitation is expected to become all snow later this morning as a much colder air mass settles over the area.

Travelers are advised to exercise caution as untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.
