Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Thunder Bay. Warming temperatures and precipitation could lead to freezing rain this morning.

The Weather Service reports, “A low pressure system will arrive across the regions early this morning. Precipitation in the form of freezing rain or freezing drizzle may create hazardous conditions on untreated surfaces due to ice accumulation. The precipitation is expected to change over to light snow later this morning”.

Depending on your travel plans today, weather could impact your plans. As it is March Break, students are off from school.
