Thunder Bay Passes Budget at Council

THUNDER BAY – News – City Council passed the budget last night. The budget will see a small increase in the mill rate. Councillor Aldo Ruberto states that while Council did not want any increase, it is important to continue to invest in the city.

The At Large Councillor expressed concern in a video interview with NetNewsLedger over “Politics raising its head” in the budget vote.

The budget passed with Councillor Johnson, Councillor Linda Rydholm, Councillor Ken Boshcoff along with Councillor Giertuga voting down the budget.
