KENORA  –  The OPP have advised us that Hwy. 17A (By-Pass) is closed eastbound/westbound and is not expected to re-open before students are headed home on the school buses. The Kenora Education states they “have also been advised that we cannot access Redditt Road via Vetrans Drive and through the lights”.

Hwy. 17A is closed between Redditt Road east for 500 metres (according to OPP).

” This would mean our next access point north would be at East Mellick Road.   This impacts KN14, KN16, KN31 and Universal bus KN97.

Students who are assigned to these buses will still be transported however the buses will be required to access Redditt Road by travelling East Mellick Road to access the Coker Road to get to Redditt Road.

It is difficult to say how delayed the buses will be using this route to access Redditt Rd, Carlton Rd, Redditt.

If you are able to make arrangements to pick your child(ren) up at school please do so.
