Ring of Fire – Discussion in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce and Ontario Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon today at the Airlane Hotel. The discussion over lunch was on getting the Ring of Fire right.

The panel discussion generated a lively discussion.

The panel took questions from the audience, which ranged from First Nations issues, mining engagement with Government, and the overall economy.

Especially noted was the feeling in the North that despite the fact millions of dollars are raised in Toronto on the Toronto Stock Exchange one of the delays in the Ring of Fire is an overall lack of understanding of the scope of the project across Southern Ontario.
