SOCHI, RUSSIA – Marielle Thompson and Kelsey Serwa have added to Canada’s medal total, winning gold and silver respectively in the women’s ski cross event at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.
“Canada got a glimpse of Marielle’s and Kelsey’s tremendous talents today in a thrilling finals performance in ski cross here at Sochi 2014,” said Marcel Aubut, President, Canadian Olympic Committee. “The Canadian Olympic family extends congratulations to Marielle and Kelsey on their gold and silver medals.”
Canada now has 22 medals at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games (8 gold, 10 silver and 4 bronze).
