THUNDER BAY – An evening of memories, and plans for a new future for Corriere Canadese were on the docket at The Da Vinci Centre in Thunder Bay Ontario last night. The Honourable Joe Comuzzi introduced special guest the Hon. Joe Volpe as special guest speaker at the event hosted by the Institute for Italian Studies.

Joe Volpe is the publisher of Corriere Candese, the only Italian language daily newspaper in Canada. The goal of the paper is to reach to Italian Canadians, as well as reaching across the globe.

Joe Comuzzi shared some of the history behind some of the major decisions that impacted Northwestern Ontario.
