SOCHI, RUSSIA – Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse have successfully defended their Olympic title, winning gold in the women’s bobsleigh event at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.
“Today, Canada salutes two-time Olympic Champions Kaillieand Heather, who entered these Games ranked as one of the world’s premier bobsleigh teams,” said Marcel Aubut, President, Canadian Olympic Committee. “They lived up to that billing, and responded to those high expectations, by winning a gold medal here in Sochi.”
Canada’s Jennifer Ciochetti and Chelsea Valois finished in 13th place.
Canada now has 18 medals at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games (5 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze).
