Break In Suspect Captured on Video

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have released a video of a break and enter that took place on January 18 2014. The police are hoping that a member of the public can help them in identifying the male responsible for the break in.

In a media release, TPBS state, “On January 18 ,2014 at 4:00 a.m. Westford Foods located at the corner of Frederica Street and Edward Street was entered by a male and cash stolen from the business.

“The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a medium build wearing a brown Carhartt style jacket with a hood, jeans, white shoes, a light coloured toque with pompom and a light coloured neck warmer or face mask”.

These description are similar to those reported in two other commercial break and enters since January 17th, 2014 on the city’s south side. In each case, cash has been taken.

Similar descriptions have been linked to a residential break and enter on January 20, 2014 at 08:30AM  to a residence located in the 300 block of South Franklin.
