Mayor Hobbs – More work to do
THUNDER BAY – Mayor Keith Hobbs has filed his nomination papers and will seek a second term as Thunder Bay’s Mayor. Hobbs says that there is work to do and he wants to finish the job.
Hobbs states that the city is improving, but has work to be done on fixing our crumbling infrastructure. The Mayor commented that he thinks a recent report on the City and Spending by the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce has “Political motivations”.
The Mayor says he is working “Over 100 hours per week, and so won’t have as much time to door-knock as last time”.
Hobbs feels confident that he will gain support from the voters for a second term.
Thunder Bay voters have granted most incumbent Mayors a second term, but to date there has not been a Mayor elected for a third term except for Mayor Walter Assef.
