Thunder Bay Queens Top Ranked
THUNDER BAY – Sports – The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens enter play in 2014 with the distinction as being the top ranked midget Tier I squad in Canada.
The Queens were tabbed with the honour by MyHockeyRankings.com a website that ranks teams, leagues and organizations at various elite levels in both women’s and men’s hockey across Canada and the U.S.
Their ratings are compiled mathematically based upon such determining factors as how well teams play against other clubs, how good those teams are along with overall strength of schedule.
Squads from Ontario and Manitoba dominate the top 10 with a total of nine clubs from those two provinces cracking the list while a team from Saskatchewan is the other.
The following is the initial top 10 Canadian Girls Tier 1 midget rankings of 2014:
