Food Inspection Agency Recalls Chocolate Bar
OTTAWA – Simply Lite brand Dark Chocolate has been recalled. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Leese Enterprises International Inc. are warning people with an allergy to milk, or milk products not to consume Simply Lite brand Dark Chocolate bars. The affected product contains milk protein which is not declared on the label.
The specifics for the recall are for 50% Cacao Low Carb Sugar Free Dark Chocolate, the 85g size. The best before date on the recalled product is 01 18 2015A.
The produce UPC code is 0 00790 20012 3.
The following product has been distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and may have been further distributed in other provinces.
