TORONTO – Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak shares a holiday message with Ontarians.
I want to wish you and your family, from mine, a very Merry Christmas. And wish you as well good health and happiness in the New Year, throughout 2014.
I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year. My daughter Miller is now six and Debbie and I get to see the magic of Christmas through her eyes, it’s just a thrill.
We’ll have the Hudak family come over Christmas Eve and we’ll have a great time, exchange some presents and then we’ll try to get Miller to bed. I read her The Night Before Christmas and then put her to sleep before Santa arrives. And sure enough, some time between five and six in the morning she’ll wake Debbie and I up, she’ll say “Santa’s here!” and “Let’s go downstairs, we’ll unwrap the gifts.”
We head off to Mass in the morning and then get ready because Debbie’s family then comes later on Christmas Day – they’re coming from Listowel to our house in Niagara. I’m looking forward to it, it’s going to be a great Christmas and I hope it is for you as well.
There’s no doubt it is such a special time of year. And as we all celebrate the birth of Jesus I want to wish you and your family and friends all the warmth and fellowship of the Yuletide season.
Merry Christmas.
Tim Hudak
