Mac's Stores in Thunder Bay have reduced hours because of the risk of robbery
Mac’s Mart on Simpson Street was robbed at 01:11AM this morning.

Thunder Bay Police Report on Robbery

THUNDER BAY – News – Christmas spirit was not high on the list of a Mac’s Convenience Store robber early this morning.

Thunder Bay Police report that at 01:11AM this morning a lone male entered the Mac’s Store on Simpson Street.

The lone male was armed with a knife  and the robber demanded cash.

The robber fled the scene in a compact four-door blue automobile. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk thankfully was not hurt in the incident.

Thunder Bay Police say that the suspect is described approximately six-feet tall with a medium build.

The suspect is in his mid- to late twenties. He was wearing a white hoodie with the letters DC on the front, dark pants and tan shoes. The suspect was hiding his face wearing a white handkerchief to cover himself.
