Sex Offence Charges Laid by Thunder Bay Police
THUNDER BAY – Crime News – Thunder Bay Police executed a search warrant at a Wishart Cresent address on Saturday. Police seized several computers, cellular phones, dvds, and data storage devices. Thunder Bay Police have, as a result of those efforts laid charges of Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Invitation to Sexual Touching, Possession of Child Pornography, breach of probation and breach of a probation order against a fifty-three year old city man.
The individual will be in video court on Sunday.
Thunder Bay Police started their investigation into this case starting in November. Police had received a complaint of a reported sexual assault between the fifty-three year old male, and a 15 year old teenager.
Police began their investigation using warrants and gathered video evidence to bring the charges.
Police received a complaint in November of a sexual assault involving the 53-year-old male and a 15-year-old. The Criminal Investigations Branch used warrants and video evidence as part of their investigation.
Thunder Bay Police ‘Cyber Crime’ unit is now in the process of investigating the computers, cellular phones, and data storage devices.
