No Threat for Thunder Bay Gas Supplies
THUNDER BAY – Gas up while you got ’em. Service stations around Thunder Bay are reportedly running out of gasoline. Line-ups across the city are reporting shortages and long line-ups.
Gas Prices across the city run from $1.149 per litre on the Fort William First Nation to $1.299 in town.

Heading into the holiday season where lots of people are travelling, the shortages couldn’t come at a worse time.
There are reportedly no threats of running out. Sources tell NNL that there is lots of gas in the city, but that it is likely some stations will be diverting the more expensive premium fuel for regular in many cases.
A recent train derailment near Ignace has reportedly caused delays in getting gasoline into Thunder Bay.
Prices are remaining stable.
