THUNDER BAY – The CP Holiday Train rolled into the Fort William Train Station tonight. The Holiday Train was running a little late, but that didn’t seem to impact the huge crowd of people who came out.
The crowd was almost double the size of last year’s crowd. Holiday Train supporters enjoyed the music of Jim Cuddy, Matt Dusk, Doc Walker, Melanie Doane, Tracey Brown, Willy Porter, The Claytones and other musical guests.
Mayor Hobbs shared, “You have donated over 1100 kilograms of food to the RDFA”.
“It just goes to show that Thunder Bay has a giant heart!,” enthused the Mayor.
A giant cheque for over $13,000 was also presented by CP to the RDFA that will help many in the district.
