THUNDER BAY – Business – The Ontario Power Generating Station in Thunder Bay is set to be converted to Enhanced Bio-Mass. The move is welcomed by the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce.

President Charla Robinson sat down in the NNL Studio to discuss the plan and what it means for the Thunder Bay business community.

The move to convert the plant has drawn solid reviews from local MPPs, a positive review from Mayor Hobbs, who states he and the City of Thunder Bay will continue to lobby for the plant to be converted to full operation.

Less positive reviews came from Common Voice Northwest, Iain Angus gave the conversion of the OPG plant a mark of 50% on the energy planning for the North.
