THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police share “On November 15th at approximately 9:30PM EST police responded to a call of a mischief to a residence on East Frederica Street. The resident stated that an unknown person threw an object at the house breaking a window. The object appeared to be smoldering.

When police attended, the area was blocked off and the OPP Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) was called out. The device was confirmed to be explosive in nature with the intent to cause a fire.

The investigation is continuing.

Police are seeking help from the public to solve this crime.
