Tip Leads to Marijuana Bust
FORT MCMURRAY – Crime Beat – On November 1st, 2013 shortly after 2:00 p.m. RCMP received an anonymous tip that there was a male at McMurray Aviation with a shipment of marihuana headed to Fort Chipewyan. Wood Buffalo RCMP traffic unit along with their interdiction dog attended McMurray Aviation and after a short investigation 5.2 kgs of marihuana was located and seized.
As a result of the seizure, Robert Dolbec (33) of Fort Chipewyan has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking. Dolbec has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on November 26, 2013.
