THUNDER BAY –  Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police attended an incident in the lobby of the Shoreline Hotel just before 1:00AM on October 20th, 2013 in response to a weapons incident that had just occurred. Thunder Bay Police report that “An intoxicated male entered the lobby area of the hotel and began to harass two people who were waiting for a taxi. The male then allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened them. The 17 year old male victim punched the male with a knife several times in the face and was able to subdue him”. 

The accused was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre for treatment and was then transported back to the police station.

Thirty-two year old Elmer Argueta made a court appearance yesterday morning for the charges of Assault with a Weapon. He was remanded to the district jail.
