24 Year Old Woman Murdered in Fort Severn

FORT SEVERN – Murder charges have been laid in Fort Severn. As first reported on October 16th, a female was found on the community. NAPS now updates that Georgina Becky Stoney is the name of the deceased.

Stoney died as a result of her injuries. The twenty-four-year old woman was pronounced dead at the nursing station in Fort Severn. Sources tell NNL that Stoney was found by her mother.

Facing murder charges, is nineteen year old Tommy Raymond Miles Jr. who is known as “TJ”.

Miles was arrested yesterday and has now been charged with second-degree murder.

Miles has been remanded in custody. He will appear in court on October 17th.

A post-mortem examination was set for today (Thursday) in Kenora.
