THUNDER BAY – Entertainment – Are you looking for a boot-stomping time Tuesday night?

Get your tapping feet, knee slapping and dancing shoes ready to rock ‘n roll with The 24 Street Wailers and Ross Neilsen Band.

The two bands are on a Canadian tour. They will be stopping in Thunder Bay, ON Tuesday, October 15, 2013 to play at the Apollo.

In the summer, the two bands played real hot Rockabilly and Rhythm and Rock ‘n Roll and Blues music in town. The bands playing at the same venue makes the night high energy and flow like a well-oiled engine room.

The 24 Street Wailers are a young quartet from Toronto, ON.

Lindsay Beaver is the lead singer and fast playing drummer, Michael Archer strums hard on the Harmony bass, Emily Burgess is the lead guitarist and Jon Wong is their wildly prominent saxophonist. Together the group has a big beat Rockabilly and Rhythm style.

Hailing from Fredericton, New Brunswick is the well-seasoned Ross Neilsen Band trio.

Ross Neilsen cranks it on the lead vocals and guitar, Karl Gans whips the sticks on the drums and Jamie Guitar balances out the trio on the guitar. They are a lively and varied blues and rock band.

This is both bands end of the year tour and last time to Thunder Bay for 2013. The bash will be a mayhem collection of Rockabilly, Blues and Rock to check out.

The 4 hour non-stop boot-thumping night is open to everyone over the age of nineteen. Tickets at the Apollo are $10.00 at the door.
