Busy Night for Thunder Bay Police

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police responded to a robbery at the Robin’s Donuts on May Street this morning. The robber entered the location at about 04:00AM EDT. The suspect was reportedly armed with a knife. The suspect fled the scene upon realizing that the alarm in the shop had been activated.

Sledge Hammer Assault on Car

Just before midnight, Police were on the scene on May Street near Lincoln Street responding to what sources tell NNL was a female taking a sledge hammer to a vehicle.

Over the past twenty-four hours, Police responded to 181 calls for service. Those calls included three weapons offences, two sexual offenses, and five assaults.
