THUNDER BAY – The MV Thunder Bay will arrive in Thunder Bay today. The Canada Steamship Lines new Trillium Class freighter, MV Thunder Bay will make it’s first arrival into the the city.
At 05:30EDT the Thunder Bay is bound for the city, with a noon ceremony planned that will have Mayor Hobbs and other local dignitaries welcoming the newest Canada Steamship Lines ship to the Port.

The Thunder Bay is the third of four new Trillium Class vessels to join CSL’s Great Lakes fleet. Conceived and built as part of CSL’s ambitious fleet renewal program, Trillium ships are equipped with the most advanced, sustainable and safe technologies available on the market today.
