Dryden City Police Report
In Dryden two individuals who are from London Ontario were arrested by Dryden Police. The pair were arrested over a number of vehicle thefts. Dryden City Police checked a vehicle at 7-Eleven at 04:20 Saturday morning. The officers discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Sault Ste. Marie.
Police also found out the two were wanted for vehicle thefts in London and Parry Sound. Twenty-one-year-old Ahmed Abdallah and twenty-year-old Danielle Garlick both face three charges related to the incident. Abdallah also faces two counts of breaching probation orders.
Kenora OPP Report
Two Kenora residents were victims of a home invasion. Kenora OPP were called to a home in the Rideout area of Kenora at 02:00EDT on Wednesday September 4th. On arriving at the scene, uniformed officers found the two residents of the home had sustained minor injuries after being assaulted by the assailants.
The OPP report that two unknown men wearing dark clothing with faces covered entered the home through an open door. On entering the house the two suspects demanded the residents give them money and valuables.
The suspects then assaulted the residents. One of the homeowners then managed to flee the home and call police.
The suspects are described as one male having short dark hair with shaved sides, and the the other had a ‘flat top’ hairstyle.

Wawa OPP Report
The Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a break and enter to a camp located on Magpie River in Musquash Township. The owner advised that the break in occurred between Sunday August 25 and Friday August 30, 2013. The camp was entered by damaging the front door knob. Taken from the property was a 2008 15 horsepower Tahatsu outboard motor valued at $2000. Anyone with any information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
Additionally, on September 7, 2013: The Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a male laying on the roadway at the intersection of Highway 17 and 101 just south of Wawa.
OPP uniformed officers located the male sleeping on the fog line of the roadway just after 22:00EDT. Officers detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage from the suspect, and observed him to be unsteady on his feet.
Further investigation revealed that the male was currently on several probation orders with conditions that included abstaining from the consumption and possession of alcohol.
As a result, 27-year-old Anthony Calhoun from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code Offences;
1. Fail to Comply with Undertaking/Recognizance – 2 counts
2. Breach of Probation – 3 counts
3. Possession of Cannabis Marihuana
The accused was held for bail court in Sault Ste. Marie.
