Thunder Bay QueensHAMILTON -Sports- The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens remain unbeaten after three games at the 9th annual Stoney Creek Sabres Showcase in Hamilton after finishing up round robin play with a 4-0 victory over the Buffalo Bisons.

Samantha Strassburger paced the Queens offensively with a pair of goals and an assist while Bronwyn Bolduc had a tally and a helper of her own.

Kaley Tienhaara notched the other Thunder Bay marker in the triumph that saw Farrah Nicholl set-up two of the Queens’ efforts.

Sydney Isbell posted the shutout helping her side improve to 2-0-1 in the tourney.

Thunder Bay returns to game action this evening as they take on the Sudbury Lady Wolves at 6:05 p.m. at the Gateway Ice Centre with a spot in the showcase medal round on the line.
