Senseless Vandalism Hurts Galo Inc.
THUNDER BAY – A senseless act of vandalism. Clara, the owner of Galo is in tears today. Overnight someone threw a rock into their sign on their restaurant on Red River Road. The sign is now smashed, and the cost of about $2000 will hurt the new fledgling business.
Galo Inc. has been busy making amazing food. If you have not had their chicken yet, you are really missing out.

The vandalism is like a big slap in the face for Clara and her family. As they have been growing their business, they have put in long hours and dedicated lots of time for this family operation to get up and fully running.
The company has been a part of several positive projects in Thunder Bay since opening. Talk to a customer, and they will share with you that Galo offers a tour through their food.
As well when superstar Nellie Furtado played in Thunder Bay earlier this year, the company shared an amazing food treat with the singer and her band.
Building a small business is hard. Gallo has already had to content with the gas leak that happened in their area this spring and it shut them down for the day and Clara shared cost the company an estimated $5000 in lost business.

The company has also expanded to take food to the city with their new Food Truck.
This weekend, Galo will be open all day Saturday, and the Food Truck will be out in the downtown core on the north side as well.
